Raise your hand if you’ve never experienced the stress of a lousy internet connection. Sometimes, the problem originates in the router’s settings or the poor service offered by the hired company. But most of the time, a bad Wi-Fi connection arises because of specific objects or furniture that we have at home that are too close to the router or our computers. The Wi-Fi connection in your home will either save or ruin your day, and everything from your fridge to holiday decorations can contribute to a lousy connection. So let’s take a look at seven of these common connection enemies! TIMESTAMPS: Microwave 0:38 Drones and other remote control toys 2:17 Holiday / decorative lights 2:45 The fridge 3:22 Mirrors 3:58 Brick and stone walls 4:36 Metal furniture and surfaces 5:27 Tips that will definitely help - Update your wireless router’s firmware 6:18 - Proper router placement 7:14 - Check the frequency 7:59 - Get a Wi-Fi extender 8:28 #wifi #internet #brightside SUMMARY: - Both your Wi-Fi signal and microwave oven operate on the same frequency, which is 2.4 GHz. Every microwave should be properly shielded so it doesn’t leak any radiation, but the fact is, just about all of them leak enough to cause electromagnetic or radio frequency (RF) interference. - Drones and other remote control toys “talk” to the remote you’re using on that 2.4 GHz frequency. Not all models will cause this interference, but more powerful and long-range devices can. - The same string lights you use on your Christmas tree or put up around the room for a cool party could be the reason you can’t stream that awesome party song playlist you spent hours and hours on! - Electrical appliances that use pipes and circulate water are not so nice your Wi-Fi signal. This is because water has the ability to retain energy from wireless waves, which can mess up your connection. - Your mirror reflects the signal coming from the router. As a result, it can also act as a kind of shield and cause the signal to bounce off of it. - So this one won’t have as simple of a fix because chances are, if your house or apartment has brick and stone walls, they’re probably there for a reason. - Metal fixtures, utility shelves and the like can all give your Wi-Fi a rough time. Metal is a conductor, so it absorbs electricity, and as you recall, a Wi-Fi signal is made of radio and electromagnetic waves. - Sometimes all it takes is giving your router an update. - Where you put your router can have the biggest impact on the quality of the signal. An open area is ideal. - Most routers will let you change this in the admin settings. If you have a dual-band router, it’s possible that the other frequency, 5GHz, isn’t turned on. Genetics can play a role in how your skin ages over time. This is known as intrinsic aging. Eight lifestyle factors that can help keep your skin looking healthy and youthful. 1. Protect yourself from the sun. It’s a well-known fact that exposure to the sun can damage your skin, leading to premature aging and wrinkles. According to a 2013 studyTrusted Source, regular sunscreen use has the ability to slow down the signs of aging skin. To protect your skin from the sun’s damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays, it’s vital to apply an SPF of between 30 and 50 every day, even if it’s overcast. UV rays can still penetrate clouds, so don’t skip on sunscreen just because it isn’t sunny. For extra protection, wear a wide brim hat, light-colored clothes that’ll reflect the sun, and sunglasses with UV protection. 2. Use a retinoid. Retinoids, which are derived from vitamin A, are one of the most studied anti-aging ingredients. Sometimes referred to as retinol, retinoids have the ability to increase collagen production, which helps plumps up the skin. Retinoids also encourage skin regeneration and can promote the creation of new blood vessels, which may help improve the skin’s overall appearance and texture. There are five main types of retinoids, each with slightly different degrees of potency. Some are available in creams and gels that you can buy over the counter, while others are available by prescription only. Dermatologists recommend starting with a small amount to test your skin’s tolerance to the product, and using it every other day to avoid peeling. Talk to your dermatologist to find out which option is right for your skin. 3. Moisturize. A moisturizer acts like a drink of water for your face. Moisturizers help to nourish and hydrate the skin. This is especially important as you get older and your skin becomes drier, which makes it more prone to wrinkles. Research shows that using a moisturizer that contains, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C are especially effective at preventing wrinkles from forming or getting deeper. 4. Stay hydrated. Drinking water is essential for good health. Your body needs water for almost every function it does. Besides vital functions like flushing toxins from your body, aiding with digestion, and regulating your body temperature, water can also help keep your skin healthy and hydrated from the inside. 5. Eat vitamin-rich food. Foods that are high in anti-inflammatory or antioxidant properties may also improve the skin’s elasticity and protect against skin damage and premature aging. Some foods and drinks with these qualities include: green tea. olive oil. salmon. avocados. pomegranates. flax seeds. vegetables, especially carrots, pumpkin, leafy greens, bell peppers, and broccoli. 6. Sleep on your back. According to a 2016 study, your sleeping position may have an effect on the formation of wrinkles. The study found that people who sleep on their side or stomach are prone to mechanical compression forces, which can speed up the formation of wrinkles, and also distort facial skin. One way to prevent this is to try sleeping on your back instead of on your side or stomach. Silk pillowcases may also be kinder to your skin than cotton, as they create less friction and help prevent abrasion of the skin. 7. Don’t smoke! Tobacco smoke damages collagen and elastin, the fibers that give your skin its elasticity and strength. Also, the nicotine in cigarettes causes your blood vessels to constrict. This reduces the blood flow to your skin. As a result, your skin doesn’t get as much oxygen. It’ll also limit the important nutrients, like vitamin A, that can get to your skin. 8. Relax your face Repeated facial movements like squinting, frowning, or pursing of the lips can speed up the formation of wrinkles. If you find yourself squinting frequently, it may be a sign that you need to get your eyes checked or that you need a stronger prescription for your glasses or contact lenses. The main problem is that all of these drinks have sugar in them and part of this sugar is made up of fructose…. Which is found in fruit and table sugar. The main issue with fructose is that your body can only store a limited amount and the rest gets converted to fat, especially belly fat.2,3 2 --- Eat The RIGHT Carbs There’s nothing wrong with carbohydrates, IF you eat the right ones. Most “man-made” carbohydrates shoot up your blood sugar and store the calories as fat, instead of getting used up for energy. 3 --- Eat The RIGHT Protein We all need to eat protein, they are essential to health. Protein increases your metabolism, reduces cravings, improves hormones, burns belly fat and helps maintain muscle.4,5,6 4 --- Eat Vegetables Eating vegetables is very important, especially when you eat protein. Planking: It’s done by laying flat on your stomach, then holding yourself up by your elbows in the plank position. From there, you are to hold this position for as long as you physically can. While this activity can develop your arms, biceps, back and thighs, planking does wonders on your stomach. 2. Reduce stress: This may keep your body from producing more cortisol, a hormone known for increasing one’s appetite. Once triggered, cortisol can turn your food directly into belly fat. So it’s safe to say the less your stressed... the less fat below your chest. I tried to make that rhyme. A little complicated I know. 3. Drink water: Out of all the methods we’re listing in today’s video, this may be the most practical. Water is 100% calorie free! While it is not scientifically supported, most health professionals recommend an equivalent of 2 litres of water per day. Drinking enough water can trick your body into believing it’s ingesting food. 4. Do pilates: As your core goes to work, your traverses abdominis is targeted. This is a muscle located in your abdominal region that is normally very hard to reach. A good pilates workout will help you achieve your flat stomach goal quicker than expected, as it exercises both your internal and external obliques at the same time. 5. Eat fiber: It decreases the number of calories your able to absorb. It does this by slowing down food passing through your digestive tract. 6. Cut the carbs!: Keeping with the theme of diet, one must watch their carbohydrate intake if they are properly going to shed fat from their bellies. To put it simply, when trying to lose weight, refined carbs can be a devil in disguise. The fastest way to get faster on drums: ►https://Drumeo.com/faster/ Drumming can basically be broken down into two things: singles and doubles. Most things we play are just a combination of these. Like a golfer working on their swing, a drummer needs to be working on perfecting these two strokes since they apply to almost everything. Note spacing and consistency are your tickets to reaching the next level in your playing. If your double strokes are threatening to–well–give you a stroke, here are five ways to stave off the sloppiness. And they really work! 0:00 Introduction 1:46 Accent the second stroke A concept taught by pros like Dave Weckl and Thomas Lang, practice accenting the second stroke of each double. Use your full wrist motion to get each one clean and powerful, and get comfortable with how this sounds and feels. Start slow and focus on that accent – it’ll naturally start to even out as you speed up. 3:16 Practice with locked grip Since it has little to no rebound, practicing on a pillow (or the soft arm of a couch) is an incredible training exercise. Hold your sticks so the end in the palm of each hand (without gripping too tightly). The stick should function like an extension of your arm rather than being allowed to pivot. Now every stroke on the pillow is a result of your wrist movement. If you do this for five or ten minutes a day, you’re going to start noticing massive improvements. 5:26 Displace your doubles To change the feel and orchestration around the kit, rather than playing square/regular doubles (RRLLRRLLRRLL), play inverted doubles (RLLRRLLRRLLR). Work that around the kit with the bass drum on every quarter note. Start with the right hand leading, then practice with the left. Get used to switching between square doubles and inverted doubles and see how the sound changes. It’s a more musical way to apply what you’re working on. 10:00 Use the note value tree Practice cycling your doubles between quarter notes, 8th notes, 8th note triplets, 16the notes, 16th note triplets, and 32nd notes. Try it with the metronome at 60 BPM. 14:50 Study the roll rudiments Whether you realize it or not, you’re always playing rudiments. If you want to unlock more possibilities in your drumming, work on the 5 stroke roll, 6 stroke roll, 7 stroke roll, 9 stroke roll, 10 stroke roll, 11 stroke roll, 13 stroke roll, 15 stroke roll, and 17 stroke roll.
